When I was a young lad my dad showed me a passionflower, and explained to me how the missionaries in South America described the Crucifixion of our LORD Jesus Christ to the indigenous people, using the flower as an object lesson. The flower always fascinated me and when I was in my twenties I began to read the Bible and I could see how the different organs of the flower reminded me of different passages of the scriptures. I believe Jesus placed the flower in the new world,  to prepare the world for His coming, Jesus said of His return:    “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:36-39. In the days of Noah,  only Noah and his family were ready, it is my hope that I’m ready and I hope many will be ready for our LORD Jesus’s soon return, remember Jesus said if you love  Me keep My commandments. Paul states.

” Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.

We see that Satan wants to be worshiped and he will try to achieve this through the Papacy and sunday worship. When Jesus died on Calvary and rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to us, that He will dwell inside us for Paul states again.

” Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16,17.

I believe when Jesus created the world for the Gospel of John says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.” John1:1-3.  Jesus is the Word the Creator our Savior.

Here is a brief explanation of the meanings of the different organs of the flower.

(The Ovary) Represents the Woman, God’s church on earth, from the Garden of Eden, to the Book of Revelation.

Now at the center of the flower is the ovary the fruit, signifying the woman, God’s church on earth. If you cut the fruit open, it is full of seeds, but if you scoop the seeds out, you can see how the seeds were attached to three separate placentas, in the one fruit. I believe Jesus is showing us how His church has three parts.

(The first part is for the Father.)    The Old testament with the creation of the heavens and the earth, the seventh day Sabbath for rest, the fall of man, the promise of our Savior Jesus Christ , Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the strong foundation, God’s Holy Laws the Ten Commandments, and the sacrificial systems pointing to our LORD Jesus Christ the Lamb of God.

(The second part is the Word.)        Jesus being born, His birth and His baptism, His ministry, healing the sick, preaching the good news to the poor, His death on the Cross-on Calvary, God the Father raising Him from the dead, and His ascension into heaven. Fulfilling the scriptures.       Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:23.

(The third part is the Holy Ghost.)       Jesus said that He would go away, and send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to convict the world of it’s sins, and to guide and strengthen His church until the LORD Jesus’s second coming.

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. “ John 14:26.

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with Me from the beginning.” John 15:26,27.

Jesus said He would never leave us.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” 1 John 5:7,8.

After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, Jesus is addressing Satan.

“ And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15.

Her Seed pertains to Jesus our Savior. And His heel means that Jesus will crush Satan’s head.

“Now to Abraham and His Seed were the promises made. He says not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy Seed, which is Christ.” Galatians. 3:16.

The history of the Woman. She is clothed in the sun. Meaning she has the light of the Gospel. She has the moon under her feet. Meaning she stands on the Old Testament. She has a crown of twelve stars. Meaning the tribes of Israel, Jacob’s sons. The Child, is Jesus Christ our Savior. See below.

” And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her Child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a Man-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And there was war in heaven: Michael and His angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitance of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman, which brought forth the man-Child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation: 12

(Anthocyanins are the colours of the Tabernacle.)

Anthocyanin’s are the water-soluble pigments of the flower and are blue, red, and purple; according to their PH level, these represent the colours of the Tabernacle.

God said. “And let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.” Exodus 25:8.

Now the colours of the Tabernacle represented the different phases, of our LORD Jesus’s work in the Santuary.

There were three parts to Tabernacle.

A white linen fence surrounded the Tabernacle. See Exodus 27:9-19.

The Courtyard.        The Holy Place.          And the Most Holy Place.

The colour of the covering of the Altar of Burnt Offerings was Purple.

The colour of the covering of Table of Showbread was Blue. Then they put on it the dishes, the pans bowls, and the continual bread, and covered them with a Red cloth.

The colour of the covering of the Lampstand and its utensils was Blue.

The covering of the Altar of Incense was Blue

The colour of the covering of the Ark of the Covenant was Blue.

The white linen fence represents the Purity of Jesus;

The purple is for Jesus the Lamb of God, our Sacrifice meant by the Altar of Burnt Offerings, and His Kingship, the King of Kings.

The red is His precious blood to take away the sins of the world.

The blue He is God the Son, and His righteousness.

The Tabernacle was portable and when God said move, Aaron the high priest would cover the furniture. Starting with Ark of the Covenant. First they would take down the covering veil, which was made of woven linen, and blue, purple, and scarlet thread.

“ And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof. And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon: And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof. And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it: And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar. And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof: And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar: And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon: And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it. And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die.” Number 4:5-20.

(The Ten Commandments)     “If ye love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15.

The Petals are the first five Commandments for God.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all soul, and with all mind.” Matthew 22:37,38.

And God spake all these words, saying,

I AM the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

1 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

2 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

3 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.

4 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5 Honor thy Father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”   Exodus 20:1-12.

Many believe the fifth commandment is for man, but Jesus told us:

“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.” Matthew 23:9,10.

And He gave us the LORD’S prayer:

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need have, before ye ask Him.

After this manner therefore prays ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom comes. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:7-15.

I believe that God our Father in heaven delegates His power, to parents to bring up their children to be good citizens. But when it comes to the day we worship, God wants us to worship Him on His Sabbath day the seventh day.

Not on the pagan sun worship day, which is Sunday. Satan wants the world to worship him through his agents the Papacy.

God is our Father, and the earth is our mother, every seventh year the earth was to rest in the land of Israel.

” And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee, And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.” Leviticus 25:1-7.

God made provision for the Seventh year.

” Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. And if ye shall say, what shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: Then I will command My blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.” Leviticus 25:18-22.

(The Sepals five Commandments of man.)    ( Matthew 22:29,30.) Love your neighbour, as yourself.

6 Thou shalt not kill.

7 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8 Thou shalt not steal.

9 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

10 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” Exodus 20:13-17.

(The Coronal Filaments) Are the fringes to remember.

Jesus gave Israel the fringes as a sign to remember to keep His Ten Commandments, the Sabbath Day and the Communion Service, right up to the day of His coming in the clouds of heaven.

To infringe is to break an agreement between two parties, God and man. The fringes were on the borders of their clothes,  So to look upon the fringe and sin against God or your neighbor was to infringe, and  required a animal sacrifice pointing the precious blood of Jesus, whom all the sacrificial system was a shadow of.

And it shall be said in that day, lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” Isaiah 25:9.

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. I AM the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I AM the LORD your God.” Numbers 15:37-41.

Moreover also I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I AM the LORD that sanctify them.” Ezekiel 20:12.

“Thus said the LORD unto Me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; And say unto them, Hear ye the Word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates: Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto Me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but hallow the Sabbath day, to do no work therein; Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD. But if ye will not hearken unto Me to hallow the Sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.” Jeremiah 17:19-27.

“ And when the hour was come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, this is My body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you. But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth Me is with Me on the table. And truly the Son of Man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom He is betrayed!” Luke 22:14-22.

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.

After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, this cup is the New Testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till He come.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.” 1Corinthians 11:23-34.

(The Androgynophore) Is the Cross on Calvary.

Jesus is lifted up.

When Eve said to Jesus in the Garden of Eden, the Serpent beguiled me and I did eat, and she gave the fruit to Adam and he ate, the curse of sin fell upon us. We look to Jesus our Lord as our Savior and with out Him, we are lost. When Israel journeyed towards the promised land the people complained against God and Moses, and He (God) sent fiery serpents amongst the people, and they were bitten, and they cried to Moses, and Moses enquired of God to save them, and God told Moses to make a bronze serpent and set it on a pole, and if the people were bitten by the serpents and if they looked towards the bronze serpent they would live, if not they would die. Only the precious blood of Jesus Christ, saves us from the curse of the serpent. The same Serpent as was in the Garden of Eden. That is Satan.

And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. ” Numbers 21:4-9.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:14-16.

“Now is My soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify Thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, an angel spake to Him. Jesus answered and said, this voice came not because of Me, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I were lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me. This He said, signifying what death He should die. The people answered Him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth forever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide Himself from them.” John 12:27-36.

“ Jesus saith unto him, I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6.

(The Anthers and the Filaments) The five wounds Jesus received on the Cross.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5.

“The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (for that Sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and break the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was dead already, they break not His legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, a bone of Him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, they shall look on Him whom they pierced.” John 19:31-37.

(Styles and the Stigma)  Represent the three nails our LORD Jesus was nailed to the Cross-with.

For dogs have compassed Me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed Me: they pierced My hands and My feet.” Psalm 22:16.

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when He had so said, he shewed unto them His hands and His side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent Me, even so send I you. And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto Him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” John 20:19-29.

(The Nectary)   Is the cup of the precious blood of Jesus.

“And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, this is My body, which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, this cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you.”       Luke22: 17-20.

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, this cup is the New Testament in My blood: this do ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

(The Bracts)   Are the Crown of Thorns.

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto Him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped Him, and put on Him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in His right hand: and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! And they spit upon Him, and took the reed, and smote Him on the head. And after that they had mocked Him, they took the robe off from Him, and put His own raiment on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.” Matthew 27:27-31.

And the soldiers led Him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band. And they clothed Him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about His head, and began to salute Him, Hail, King of the Jews! And they smote Him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon Him, and bowing their knees worshipped Him. And when they had mocked Him, they took off the purple from Him, and put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him.” Mark 15:16-20.

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged Him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe, and said, Hail, King of the Jews! And they smote Him with their hands. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring Him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in Him. Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the Man!” John 19:1-5.

The Ten Commandments.

The Apostle John states. “Whoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:4.

So to trangress the law, is to break one of the Ten Commamdments. James the brother of Jesus states. “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” James 2:10.

Jesus said.    ” Think not that I Am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I Am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-19.

Jesus intends His Ten Commandments, to be kept, until His Second Comming. His last days church will keep them. John states. ” And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17.

And again.  ” Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12.

Here is a wonderful promise in this day and age, where men change rules like their clothes.

But not God, for He says.   ” For I AM  the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6.

We can have complete faith in our Savior Jesus Christ.

In the photo above, the blue numbers 1-5, are the Petals and denote the five Commandments for God.

5 Honour thy Father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Exodus 20:1-12.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.   This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:37,38.

God said to Moses you shall make a Tabenacle with ten curtains, five each side, joined in the middle, with teaches of gold, and they hanged the veil from the gold teaches,  dividing the Holy place from the Most Holy place I believe God was telling us that  there was five commandments for God, and five commandments for man. One curtain per commandment. See in the passages below.

” Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.  The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure. The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.  And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.  Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.  And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.” Exodus 26:1-6.

And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:  And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.  And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.  And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.  And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.” Exodus 26:31-36.

The Curtain at the front of the Tabernacle.

“And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.” Exodus 26:36,37.

In the photo above,  the orange numbers, 6-10 are the Sepal and denote the five Commandments for man.

 6Thou shalt not kill.

7 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8 Thou shalt not steal.

9 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

10 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” Exodus 20:13-17

” And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:39,40.

The Fringes are to Remember GOD’s Commandments, the Sabbath Day, the Communion Service, Gods love for us, He gave us  His Son.

The word infringe means to break a contract or agreement, I believe this is where the word originated. I believe God wants us Remember His love, by doing what He asks us to do.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:  And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.  I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.” Numbers 13:37-41.

“And God spake all these words, saying,

I AM the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

1 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

2 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; 6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

5  Honour thy Father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

6 Thou shalt not kill.

7 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8 Thou shalt not steal.

9 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

10 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” Exodus 20:1-17.

We see the fourth commandment,  to remember His Sabbath day. It will be a sign.

”  I AM the LORD your God; walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them;  And hallow My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me  and you, that ye may know that I AM the LORD your God.”Ezekiel 20:19,20.

” Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.  And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.” Genesis2:1-3.

We see at creation God blessed the Sabbath, meaning if we keep the Sabbath we receive a blessing from God.

And He sanctified it, He made it holy, to be set aside for a day of worship of God, to rest from our work.

God’s Sabbath is from sunset Friday, to sunset Saturday.

God asks us to remember the Communion Service. Prior to His Crucifixion, Jesus longed to celebrate the feast of the Passover with His disciples. The foot washing,  the breaking  of the Bread, the Cup of the Precious blood of Christ,  the new Covenant. The Passover was the foreshadow of Jesus’s death on the Cross. When God told Moses to put the blood of the lambs, on the door posts and lintel of their dwellings, so the angel of death would passover them, prior to Jacobs children leaving Egypt. Was all coming to fruition that very night, for we are cleansed by Jesus’s precious blood.

” And when the hour was come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And truly the Son of Man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom He is betrayed!  And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.” Luke 22:14-23.

”  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread:  And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.  After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

So there is a brief explanation of the Fringes.

Here is the crux of the matter: Jesus said “I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” John 14:6.

When Jesus was crucified on Calvary, the scriptures, that pointed forward to the Cross, were fulfilled.

” Then delivered He Him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led Him away.  And He bearing His cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:  Where they crucified Him, and two other with Him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.  And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.  This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.  Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.  Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.  Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also His coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.  They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted My raiment among them, and for My vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.  Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.  When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He saith unto His mother, Woman, behold thy son!  Then saith He to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.  After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.  Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth.  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.  The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.  Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with Him.  But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was dead already, they brake not His legs:  But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.  And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.  For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of Him shall not be broken.  And again another scripture saith, They shall look on Him whom they pierced.” John 19:16-37.

When the soldier filled the sponge with vinegar and put it on the hyssop, and put it to Jesus’s lips, Jesus received it, and He said “It is finished” and He gave up His spirit. See John 19:28-30.

This is the fulilment of the LORD’s passover, when the Hebrews took a bowl of the lambs blood, deeped hyssop into the blood, and struck the lintel and the two door posts of their houses, and the blood would have dripped down from the lintel on to the earth, for shadowing the Cross on Calvary. See Exodus 12.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. 8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. 11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 13  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. 15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. 16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. 17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever. 18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. 19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. 20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread. 21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. 24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. 25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. 28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. 29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. 31  And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. 32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also. 33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men. 34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders. 35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: 36  And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. 37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. 38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual. 40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. 42 It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. 43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: 44 But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof. 45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. 46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. 50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. 51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.” Exodus 12.

Thank you for reading.

The Lamb of God.

You will need to use your imagination with this one.

If you notice in the centre of the flower, is the Ovary, at maturity,  will be full of seeds. A peculiarity to this variety, seems to be the wool like fibres coming from the Ovary, resembling the wool from a lamb. And on the filaments of the stamen are black marks, looking to me like  our blemishes the sins that Jesus died for.  Now Paul says:   “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy Seed, which is Christ.” Galations 3:16.

The Ovary represents the Woman, God’s church on earth. And Abrahams Seed which is Jesus.

Earlier I described the Anthers and it’s Filaments, as representing the Wounds Jesus suffered on the Cross, as Isaiah writes:   “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 .

The apostle Peter writes: ”  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot:” 1Peter 1:18,19. The ovary which resembles the lamb has no blemishes, the Filaments of the Anthers are covered in blemishes, signifying our sins, Jesus was wounded for.

Here are some Bible verses point forward to Jesus as the Lamb of God.

” Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:  And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.  And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.  And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.  Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.  And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.  And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover.  For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:5-13.

” Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.  The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:  And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.  And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.  This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.  And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.  And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest’s office.” Exodus 29:38-44.

” The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  This is He of whom I said, After me cometh a Man which is preferred before me: for He was before me.  And I knew Him not: but that He should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him.  And I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.”John 1:29-34.

There are many references to Jesus in the Book of Revelation as the Lamb. I strongly recommend the reader do studies on the Books of Daniel and Revelation. As they deal with future events about to take place on earth.

Thank you for reading.

(White as Snow)

Scarlet signifies the Precious Blood of Christ shed on Calvary for the cleansing of our sins.

The shadow of “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29 last part.

“And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.” Exodus 12:22.

For the cleansing of leprous clothes.

Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: Leviticus 14:4.

The Sanctity of the blood.

” And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,  What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,  And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:  To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.  And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.  And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.  And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,  And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.  And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.  For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.  Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.  And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.  For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.  And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.  But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.” Leviticus 17.

This is part of a Psalm of David 51:7, after he had been with Bathsheba.

“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” Psalm 51:7.

This is all of Psalm 51. a prayer for forgiveness.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.  For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.  Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.  Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.  Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.  Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.  Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.  O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.  For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.  Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.  Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. Psalm 51.

Cleans me LORD.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;  Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.  Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:  But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.  Isaiah 1:16-20.

Paul writes.

” But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.  For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.  For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.  Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.  For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,  Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.  Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”Hebrews 9:11-22.

Sin is the breaking of God’s Ten Commandments.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4.

(Jesus’s is lifted up.)

” And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.” Numbers 21:4-9.

When Eve ate of the fruit of tree of knowledge, she said the serpent beguiled me and I did eat. She gave the fruit to her husband Adam and he ate. God told them if they eat the fruit they would die. They became sinners and separated themselves from God the Father. As I said in the introduction, we sinners needed a Savior who is Jesus Christ our LORD, and Jesus had a plan of salvation. The flower being the sign of His plan.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, in effect were bitten by the serpent the devil, the dragon satan. And we will die. (we have a Saviour in Christ Jesus.)

Now in the above scripture the Israelites  were bitten by the serpents  and were dying, and the people asked Moses to pray to God for them. God told Moses to make fiery serpent and put it on a pole, and who ever looked upon the serpent would live. If they disobeyed God and did not look upon the pole they would die.

In the same manner,  Jesus’s death on the Cross on Calvary is the only way we can be reconciled to our Father in heaven. We are saved by Jesus’s precious blood shed for us. Please read the scripture below.

” And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up:  That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  But he that doeth Truth cometh to the Light, that His deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:14-21.

” Jesus saith unto Him, I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6.

(The Bracts)

The Crown of Thorns.

When the soldiers mocked Jesus in the hall called Praetorium, platting a crown of thorns and putting it  on Jesus’s head, and putting a reed in His hand, they fulfilled the scripture, calling Him a King, they were prophetic for John states:        ” These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” Revelation 17:14.”

Then they put on Jesus a scarlet robe, in  Gospel of Matthew, and  a Purple robe in Mark and John see below. These are two  of  the functions, of Jesus’s ministry in the Tablenacle both in the earthly, and the heavenly. The purple robe meaning the covering of the alter, and Scarlet robe meaning the covering of table of shewbread, after the priest and put on it the dishes the pans, the bowls and the pitchers for pouring; and the showbread. This was done in preparation for the camp to move, please read below.

” And the soldiers led Him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.

” Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

When our Lord Jesus came to earth He fulfilled all the functions of the earthly Tabrnacle, they were the shadow of His ministry. First He was the sacrifice, John the Baptist  said ” And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!” John 1:36.

The Alter of Burnt Offerings with the covering of purple. In the court yard. (The Sacrifices)

” And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:  And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.” Numbers 4 :13,14.

The Laver where the priests washed: (Jesus our High Priest is Baptised)

” And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him: 11And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art My beloved Son, in whom I Am well pleased.” Mark 1:9-11. See also Matthew 3:3-17 Luke 3:21,22 John 1:29-34.

Jesus enters the Tabenacle: The Holy Place, all the furniture in Holy Place while on a journey to a new location, was covered by a blue cloth representing God’s Righteousness.

The table of shewbread first had a covering of Blue, Jesus begin God the Son, then after the priests put the utensils upon it’ they covered it with a cloth of scarlet meaning our Lord Jesus’s precious blood shed for our sins. And all the priestly ministry, the shewbread because Jesus is the Bread of Life and the Word of God.

I highly recommend the reader to watch a video on the net called, the “Testimony of the Ark” it takes about an hour, and is the beautiful story of Jesus.
